- What is a track light system?
- A track light or electrified rail is a system of linear rails that allows installing adjustable spotlights without construction work. It connects directly to power (220V) and the lights slide and reposition manually. At Rentaluce we work with standard three-phase systems compatible with most installations.
- How much does it cost to rent lighting for an event?
- The price depends on the type of system (track lights, magnetic, portable), number of lights and rental duration. We offer personalized quotes within 24 hours after understanding your event's needs. As manufacturers with over 30 years of experience, we offer competitive direct prices without intermediaries.
- Do I need technicians to install the rented lighting?
- Not necessarily. Our track light and magnetic systems are designed for plug-and-play setup. We provide detailed instructions and phone support during the event. For complex installations, we can recommend trusted installers.
- Do you rent to all of Spain?
- Yes. We ship equipment to any point in Spain via specialized courier.
- What's the difference between Rentaluce and other rental companies?
- Rentaluce is a Spanish professional LED lighting manufacturer since 1996. We're not intermediaries: we advise with real technical knowledge about optics, power, color temperatures and CRI. We've been manufacturing the lighting we rent for over 30 years.
- What is color temperature and which do I need for my event?
- Color temperature is measured in Kelvin (K) and indicates whether light is warm (2700-3000K, cozy), neutral (4000K, natural) or cool (5000-6500K, energetic). For weddings and social events we recommend 3000K. For trade show booths, 4000K offers better product reproduction. We advise you based on your specific case.
- What does CRI mean and why is it important?
- CRI (Color Rendering Index) is a scale from 0 to 100 that measures how faithfully a light source reproduces real colors. CRI greater than 90 is considered excellent and is essential for photography, retail and product display. All our rental equipment has CRI>90.
- How far in advance should I book?
- We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance to guarantee availability, especially during high season (September-December and March-June). For urgent events (less than 48 hours), call us directly at +34 963 990 213.
- What happens if equipment fails during the event?
- All our equipment is inspected and tested before each rental. In case of incident, we have phone support and replacement stock. Our commitment is that your event won't be affected.
- Are magnetic systems safe?
- Absolutely. Magnetic systems use high-power neodymium magnets designed to support the weight of the lights with ample safety margin. They're the preferred choice in art galleries and spaces requiring frequent tool-free changes.
